American television personality and former professional footballer Michael Strahan had a 15-year career in the National Football League exclusively with the New York Giants, which selected him at the 1993 NFL Draft. Initially, he only played six games with the Giants due to injuries and missed two playoff games that season. However, in 1997, Strahan got his breakout season, recording fourteen sacks. As his career began to flourish, he was named First Team All-Pro by the Association Press and voted into Pro Bowl.
Following a successful career in football, Strahan retired from the sport in 2008 and subsequently became part of the Fox NFL Sunday pregame show alongside host Curt Menefee, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, and analyst Terry Bradshaw. Since then, he has been gaining success to a considerable degree in his entertainment industry career. In his family, Strahan has four children.
