Sam Neill is known for his role in Jurassic Park. He was the lead star in the hit movie. Neil was able to earn a lot of money from the movie and, to some degree, it was what boosted his fame. He then landed roles for films such as Red October, Dead Calm, and Memoirs of an Invisible Man. Before Hollywood, the New Zealander began his career in his home country. He became a director and landed a role in Sleeping Dogs. This was where he started showcasing his great acting chops.

Because of his successful career, Neill was able to save money. He was able to put up a winery called Two Paddocks and a vineyard. He was able to invest in real estate. Although he is still active now, he dedicates most of his time to living in Alexandra with his family.
